July 26th race was at Raceway 7, was a good night winning our heat race, and pulling a number 11 pill for the invert. We were able to race our way into 2nd spot, it was an open tire show, and I had used my tires up getting into 2nd, and was unable to make a strong charge on the leader. June 27th we raced at Canandaigua Speedway, still having a hard time adapting to the track surface. We started 12th and finished 12th. This track is so slippery and hard to get grip on, I have been asking Randy Williamson from Bicknell Racing Products and Pat Macaulay from Bilstein Shocks for some technical assistance. June 28th’s BRP Tour show at Eriez raceway was rained out and is to be rescheduled. The BRP Tour show at Expo Speedway on July 2nd was also rained out, and they are looking at rescheduling it also. The BRP Tour has secured another date at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for September 5th. July 3rd we raced at Lernerville Speedway, started 3rd in our heat race, had the lead leaving turn 2 on the first lap, we were turning laps .5 seconds faster than the 2nd place car. In the feature event we started outside the front row. We charged out to a commanding lead in the first 10 laps, as a caution was displayed, I felt the car fall on the right rear, I had a flat tire. I shot to the pits, but went 2 laps down changing the tire, so we finished 12th. July 5th we raced at Tri City Speedway for another BRP Tour race. Pulled a bad pill for the heat, started 8th, by lap 2 I was into 4th position and then the ignition box’s rev limiter started to fail, causing the engine to cut out, so I pulled pit side. In the feature event we started 26th because of not finishing the heat race, by lap 5 I was into 16th and then a massive wreck happened in turns one and two. I went to the high side to avoid the wreck, and as I was coasting to stop at the rail, a car came spinning toward me and crashed into my front end. The damage was severe and we had to retire from the event. The car has been quick, but I just haven’t had any luck, hoping that will all change soon. So until next week, keep your fingers crossed for all of us, and we hope to see you at a track soon. Later, Del
